ACTIVA International Insurance Company Ltd, a subsidiary of group ACTIVA (Activa Finances), has become the first general insurance company in Ghana to achieve ISO 27001:2022 certification in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
This milestone underscores the company’s commitment to international standards in information security.
ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving an ISMS.
This certification shows that Activa Insurance’s processes, controls, and procedures adhere to the highest industry standards for safeguarding sensitive information.
Commenting on the ISO achievement, Benjamin Yamoah (Managing Director) explained that, by obtaining this certification, ACTIVA Insurance has strengthened its security framework to protect sensitive data, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information for both the company and its clients.
He added that this achievement enhances the company’s credibility with customers, partners, and stakeholders, setting it apart as a trusted partner in the increasingly cybersecurity-focused business environment.
“Our goal is to serve our customers by providing the best insurance solutions that align with international standards. Through this certification, ACTIVA Insurance reaffirms its dedication to adapting to emerging threats and challenges while continuing to provide tailored insurance solutions to its clients”, Mr. Yamoah stated.
On the upcoming yuletide, the MD of Activa Insurance is urging all drivers to drive safely whilst recommending motorists to insure with Activa Insurance Ghana.
