The Ghana-Russia Centre for Commerce and Relations (GRCCR) has organised its first corporate social responsibility event in the Eastern Region.

The team visited Pakro, a farming community in the Akuapem Constituency, where they donated a variety of stationery and food to pupils of St. James Anglican Basic School.

GRCCR is a non-profit organisation operating in Ghana under the auspices of the Russian Embassy in Accra.

Dr. John Aggrey, Chief Executive Officer of the centre, who led the team for the donation, highlighted that the Pakro donation marks the centre’s first corporate social responsibility initiative.

He added that the centre is committed to continuing such efforts, as it believes in supporting the vulnerable in society.
