Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko, has announce the signing of experienced forward Sampson Eduku on a one and half-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical.
The 29-year-old striker brings a wealth of experience to the Porcupine Warriors, having previously played for Samartex and Tamale City.
Eduku hugely impressed in the 2022/2023 season netting 14 goals and providing 4 assists for Tamale City.
His impressive performances earned him a move to Iraqi Premier League side Al Quwa Al Jawiya, where he further showcased his goal-scoring prowess.
Kotoko Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum welcomed Eduku’s addition to the squad, stating, “Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience. His ability to find the back of the net and create opportunities for others will add a new dimension to our attack.
“We’re excited to have him join us and believe he’ll make an immediate impact,” he said.
Eduku is the second high profile forward to join the Porcupine Warriors this transfer window, after Kwame Opoku signed a few weeks ago.
