West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus has vowed to improve his performances following a struggling start to the 2024/25 season.
The Ghana international has enjoyed a tough time at the club this season compared to his debut campaign at the club.
The 24-year-old has been directly involved in just four games in 18 games this season in the Premier League including three goals and one assist.
Kudus' form has seen him come under criticism at some point but the Ghanaian says he is working hard to get back to his best shape.
“I set higher standards for myself. I’m not there yet, but we keep working because, individually and as a team, we all know the reality of the situation we are in," Kudus said as quoted by West Ham's website.
"I want to get a higher number of goals and assist and, most importantly get more points for the team.”
Last season, the left-footed midfielder netted eight goals and set up six others in the English top flight while averaging 75 minutes per game.
