King Faisal Head Coach Prince Acheampong, popularly known as 'Sabuto,' has died after battling an illness.
The 52-year-old had been hospitalised for several days but could not survive the undisclosed ailment, resulting to his demise on Tuesday afternoon.
Acheampong was appointed in January 2025 by the In Shaa Boys, replacing Barnabas Awuni, who was sacked due to the club’s jerky start to the ongoing Division One League.
King Faisal sit ninth on the Zone 2 log with 20 points after week 15.
Asante Kotoko are "saddened" by the news and further added their prayers are with the deceased's "family, loved ones and entire King Faisal fraternity."

Acheampong previously worked with the Porcupine Warriors, Dunkwa United, and Fabulous Ladies FC.
Among his achievements was leading Opoku Ware School (OWASS) to a third-place finish in the 2024 Ashanti Regional Inter-School boys soccer competition and clinching the Ashanti Regional Inter-School title three times with T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS.
