James Kofi Annan, the 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Effutu, has led NDC supporters in the municipality to donate a range of essential items to local health authorities to help manage the ongoing cholera outbreak.
The donated items include hand sanitizers, face masks, tissues, and an undisclosed amount of money, all intended to support healthcare efforts at the Winneba Municipal Hospital.
In addition, Mr. Annan has pledged to assist in relocating the waste disposal sites in several fishing communities within the Effutu Municipality and to organise regular clean-up exercises to help reduce the spread of cholera.
