Former Tunisia international Sami Trabelsi has been appointed manager of the national side, the Tunisian Football Federation announced on Monday.
The 57-year-old Trabelsi, a former defender who won more than 80 caps for the national side, had already coached the 'Eagles of Carthage' between 2011 and 2013.
He led Tunisia to the African Nations Championship for local players (Chan) in 2011.
Trabelsi replaces renowned Tunisian coach Faouzi Benzarti whose contract was terminated "amicably" last October after less than five months.
