Nollywood actress Ini Edo is mourning the passing of her father, whom she described as her “greatest cheerleader” and “first love.”
In an emotional post, she expressed the deep pain of his loss, stating that the heavens have gained an angel.
“This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love. The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on, King,” she wrote.
Speculation about her father’s passing began three weeks ago when she shared an image of a blazing candle with the cryptic caption, “Where do broken hearts go?” However, she neither confirmed nor denied the rumors at the time.
Following her confirmation, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers have flooded her social media pages with messages of condolences and support during this difficult time.
