With the advent of technology in recent times, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has gradually become a major technological tool for successful living.
Corporate institutions worldwide are adopting AI to develop and expand their firms, making the work environment less stressful and more efficient for their employees.
Small business owners are also benefiting, as experts provide tips and strategies on how individual entrepreneurs can leverage AI to increase profitability.
In a recent conversation on Joy Prime’s Changes show, these experts explained at what point a business owner should incorporate AI to promote and sustain their business.
Maxwell Addo, a Lead Consultant at Uniek Ideas Consulting, stated that there are no limitations on when to introduce AI into a business. He emphasized that all businesses can utilize AI at any time, as it enhances efficiency and provides quicker solutions.
“Every business is ready to use AI because it brings about ease, speed and gives you more results. You save a lot of time and money.”
Just as larger companies can leverage AI in their activities, Maxwell Addo continued that individuals who sell products online can equally take advantage of the software to promote their businesses.
“The lady who sells her wears on Instagram can also leverage AI. How? She can use AI to decide what content to create; she can use AI to decide what hashtag to use to make the post go viral. She can use AI to create a content calendar for a month and she can do this in 5 minutes.”

According to him, achieving results with AI does not require exceptional intelligence. However, individuals simply need to master the ability to communicate with AI as they would with a human by asking questions about how to grow their businesses and the appropriate results will be provided.
“Just go to Chat GPT which is free and then drop a prompt; I am a lady who sells hair and this is my target audience… in fact you don’t have to be smart, just ask questions and talk to it like a human being and you’ll be shocked at what it’s going to tell you,” he said.
While AI is greatly contributing to the success of businesses, some individuals view it as a breeding ground for laziness, as people rely on it for all their needs without putting in effort.
However, Gustav Addo, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Global African Times, a magazine and media house that has been leveraging AI in his firm, suggests that people should instead focus on the versatility the technology brings to a company.

“Instead of we looking at AI making people lazy, let’s flip the coin. AI will introduce some level of versatility to people who are creative and hardworking.”
He urged young people to take AI seriously, as it is highly beneficial for their generation. He emphasized that AI can help them explore various industries and generate significant revenue, even from a single geographical location.
Meanwhile, online shoppers are advised to thoroughly verify the credibility of selling platforms before making purchases, as the internet is also a space where fraudulent activities occur.
