Founder of the Right to Dream Group, Tom Vernon is charging Ghana's government to establish a Public Private Partnership National Sports and Entertainment Hub as part of it's governance strategy.
Speaking on JoySports National Dialogue - a thought-leadership program focused on shaping the future of Ghanaian sports, Vernon expressed confidence in the enhancement of the sector through the initiative.
"Establish a Public Private Partnership for national sports and entertainment hub," He said.
"The Minister [Kofi Adams] mentioned some of the most exciting countries but another that has really excelled in sports entertainment is Rwanda.
"We have seen so many of the best sports event on the continent going to a country which has no reputation until very recently in Sports."
Tom Vernon is a former Manchester United scout and football executive with intimate knowledge of Ghanaian and African football, having established Right to Dream Academy in 1999.
