Three people are receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital after armed robbers attacked them at Gomoa Dominase Junction in the Central Region.
A father and his children were wounded in the robbery, which occurred as they were returning home from the Gomoa Akyempim Complex Market, popularly known as the Onion Market.
This marks the third armed robbery case recorded by the police within three days.

On Saturday, the same group of robbers allegedly attacked a restaurant at Okyereko Junction, making away with an undisclosed amount of money. On Sunday, they reportedly blocked the Kasoa-Winneba Highway and robbed commuters. On Monday, they attacked the father and his children.
Speaking to Adom News, the Zongo Chief of Gomoa Dominase Junction, Rahman Alhassan, revealed that the robbers, armed with guns, followed the victim from the Onion Market. Upon reaching his house, the suspects demanded money.
According to Chief Alhassan, the robbers opened fire when the father failed to hand over the money, leaving the victims with injuries to the head, back, hands and legs.
