Africa World Airlines (AWA) has announced a revised launch date for its highly anticipated Accra–Ouagadougou route, now set to begin operations on 1st July 2025.
The service was initially scheduled to commence on 3rd June, but has been postponed due to what the airline described as “factors beyond our control.”
In a public notice issued by the airline, AWA reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safe and reliable air travel across the region.
“AWA remains committed to providing reliable air travel and enhancing connectivity across West Africa,” the statement said.
The airline expressed gratitude to customers and stakeholders for their continued patience and support as it works to finalise preparations for the route.
AWA has encouraged passengers to stay informed through its official website www.flyafricaworld.com and social media channels for further updates.
The Accra–Ouagadougou route forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to strengthen regional integration and improve accessibility across key West African capitals.
