Ghana international Gideon Mensah says he is excited to be back for the 2025 edition of the All Star Festival.
This year's event, which is organised by the BAC Group, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The 2025 edition will be the fourth of its kind since the introduction of the biggest off-season football event.
Ahead of the game, the Black Stars left-back has been speaking about the importance of the programme.
"Knowing that you are there to have fun with your friends, family, and teammates is a great feeling," the Auxerre left-back said.
"It's not the same pressure as playing a competitive match. These are games that we players based outside Ghana enjoy playing."
He also called on fans to come in their numbers for the game.
"If anyone is watching, I urge you to come and get your ticket and come have fun. We are here to have fun," he continued.
The festival will feature a high-profile exhibition game between Southern Sector Stars and Northern Sector Stars, highlighting Ghana’s regional talents.
Thomas Partey will be joined by other notable names such as Felix Afena-Gyan, Osman Ibrahim, Sulemana Ibrahim, and confirmed local stars including Kwame Opoku Bayie, Benjamin Asare, Stephen Amankona, Razack Simpson, and Kevin Osei Assibey.
