A fuel truck lost control and crashed near the Benas Filling Station in Amanase on Sunday, June 29, following a reported brake failure.
The latest incident is one of many deadly crashes in recent years, leading to the loss of lives and destruction of property.
According to a Facebook post by the GNFS, the fire crew received the emergency call and arrived at the scene within minutes, reaching the site at 21:00 hours.

Upon arrival, firefighters immediately set to work containing the fuel spill using specialised foam and cooling techniques to prevent any risk of explosion.
Fortunately, both the driver and his mate escaped the crash unharmed.
The situation was swiftly brought under control, and the fire service team returned to base after ensuring the area was safe.

The Ghana National Fire Service has commended the prompt action of the Suhum firefighters in managing the emergency efficiently and preventing any further danger to the public.
