Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has denied all the charges leveled against him by the Metropolitano Police.
A statement released by his lawyer Jenny Wiltshire, said: "Thomas Partey denies all the charges against him. He has fully cooperated with the police and CPS throughout their three-year investigation."
On Friday, the 32-year-was charged with five counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.
Two of the counts of rape relate to one woman, three counts relate to a second woman, and the one count of sexual assault relates to a third woman.
The statement further highlighted the midfielder's willingness to go through the court process to defend his innocence.
"He now welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name. Given that there are now ongoing legal proceedings, my client is unable to comment further.”
He is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 5 August.Metropolitan Police said the alleged incidents occurred between 2021 and 2022.
