President of the Fafali Organisation, Raymond Amezado, has extended heartfelt appreciation to JoyNews following his recognition as the overall winner at the 2025 JoyNews Impact Makers Awards.
In a thank-you letter dated July 14, 2025, and addressed to Ms. Emefa Atiamoah-Eli, Strategic Partnerships and Projects Lead at Multimedia Group Ltd, Mr Amezado described the honour as “an extraordinary recognition” that has deeply impacted his team and the broader Fafali community.
“The awards have created a national platform to spotlight changemakers across Ghana, and I am deeply humbled to have been chosen as the overall winner,” part of the letter read.
The award, which came with a cash donation of GH¢20,000 and other gifts, was not only a financial boost but also a significant milestone in the organisation’s journey.
Mr Amezado praised the exposure the platform has brought to Fafali’s work, revealing that several individuals and organisations have since reached out with partnership offers.

“Since the award announcement, we have received several calls from individuals and organisations interested in partnering and supporting our mission, and this is all thanks to you and your team,” he stated.
He further thanked the entire JoyNews team - from the organising committee to the production and camera crew who captured their story, as well as the sponsors who made the awards possible.
“Beyond the tangible support, the exposure this award has brought to the work we do at Fafali is immeasurable,” he noted, adding that the recognition has “renewed our commitment to expanding opportunities and making a sustainable impact across communities in Ghana.”
Raymond Amezado’s win at the 3rd edition of the JoyNews Impact Makers Awards highlights the transformative work of the Fafali Foundation in youth development, education, and empowerment.
The letter reaffirmed the organisation's mission and gratitude for JoyNews’ continued commitment to celebrating social impact.
“On behalf of myself and the entire Fafali Organisation, thank you once again for believing in our story and for shining a light on our journey. We are forever grateful.”
