Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has paid separate visits to the families of the victims of Wednesday's helicopter clash.
Accompanied by some senior members of the past regime, Dr Bawumia began his visit at the residence of the late Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Dr Murtala Mohammed, where he consoled his wife and family members.
From there, Dr Bawumia also visited the family of Alhaji Limuna Mohammed Muniru, the first Vice Chairman of the NDC, before continuing in Teshie, where he visited the family of the late Squadron Peter Bafemi Anala.
At the homes of the late Dr Murtala and Alhaji Limuna, he consoled the mourners following Islamic tradition.
He paid glowing tributes to them, and together with the family and the entourage, prayed for Allah's mercy on their soul and for Allah to grant them Jannah (paradise).
At the residence of the late Squadron, Dr Bawumia paid glowing tribute to the officer and prayed for God to console the family.
From there, he visited the Jubilee House, where he laid a wreath in honour of the departed ones.
