Two promising youngsters from Ghana’s Division 2 side, Yorktown Football Club, are set to complete permanent three-year deals with Albanian First Division club FK Burrelli.
Richard Offei (20) and Fafanyo Naomesi (18) departed Ghana on Saturday, August 9, and have since arrived in Serbia and Montenegro. They are now en route to Albania to finalise their professional contracts.
This milestone follows the club’s strategic move in March 2025, when CEO Aruna Abdu invited Serbian-based FIFA-licensed agent and scout Sinisa Jelic to oversee Yorktown FC’s operations and talent development.
The collaboration has already borne fruit, with the duo set to sign their first professional contracts abroad.
