The much-anticipated relationship talk show Let’s Talk made its debut on JoyPrime on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, hosted by Asieduwaa Akumia.
The show is dedicated to addressing real-life relationship and marriage issues, providing practical solutions, and helping victims find closure.
The premiere featured two high-profile guests:
- Rev. Dr. Nana Agyemang Abbeam Danso – Ghanaian leader, entrepreneur, and minister, founder of the Abbeam Institute of Technology, Abbeam Group of Companies, and The Solution City Ministry, known for his work in education, community development, and youth empowerment.
- Akosua Sarfowaa – Facility management professional and content creator, recognised for her expertise in organisation, problem-solving, and relationship advice.

The episode tackled two emotionally charged cases:
Case 1: A woman revealed that her husband insists on anal sex instead of normal intimacy, a practice she finds emotionally and physically damaging. Bound by personal and financial struggles, she felt trapped in the marriage.
- Akosua advised couples to define non-negotiables before marriage and urged the woman to express her discomfort clearly: “Let your husband know, ‘I love you, but this is not for me.’”
- Rev. Dr. Abbeam Danso stressed the importance of accountability in marriage and suggested a direct, respectful conversation: “Maybe he doesn’t know what he’s doing is wrong. Sit him down and talk.”
Case 2: A man claimed he supported his wife through catering school, only for her to cheat on him, accuse him of abuse, and deny him access to their children.
- Akosua pointed out that ignoring red flags was his biggest mistake.
- Rev. Dr. Abbeam Danso criticised the long courtship and offered the man GH₵5,000 to help pay a GH₵20,000 court-ordered compensation. Both guests urged him to rebuild his life and focus on self-improvement before entering another relationship.
Let’s Talk airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on JoyPrime, offering expert perspectives, heartfelt discussions, and possible resolutions to relationship challenges shared by viewers.
