Ghana Women's Premier League side Police Ladies won the 2025 Champion of Champions trophy following their win over Faith Ladies.
The game, which was played at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Saturday, October 18, saw last season's league winners defeat the FA Cup winners by two goals to nil.
Philicity Asuako opened the scoring for the security ladies after 33 minutes played before Deborah Afriyie scored after the break to double the lead.
The game served as the curtain-raiser for the 2025/26 women's football season which is expected to kickoff in the coming days.
Police Ladies won the Premier League title for the first time in their history after they defeated Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the final while Faith Ladies also beat Jonina Ladies in the FA Cup final to seal glory before their relegation from the Premier League.
The Champion of Champions triumph will serve as a huge boost for head coach Abu Kassim Tabasu as he prepares his side to defend the league title.
The 2025/26 Women's Premier League season is expected to start on October 31.
