Ghanaian gospel musician Perez Musik says hunger is a major reason many young people are struggling to genuinely worship God.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio and Kwame Dadze on Daybreak Hitz, the Hewale Lala hitmaker explained that economic hardship faced by most young people has affected their spiritual lives and commitment to church.
“One thing that’s making it difficult for them to worship is hunger.” he said.
Perez Musik noted that while faith is important, churches and society must also pay attention to the physical and emotional needs of the youth.
He said empowering young people economically will help strengthen their faith and commitment to God’s work.
