Beverly Afaglo’s daughter moved mourners to tears when she stepped forward to pay a heartfelt tribute to her late mother during her funeral on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
With remarkable composure, the young girl stood before family, friends, and other mourners and spoke about the woman she loved in a moment that captured the depth of the family’s loss.
Among the words that touched hearts was her expression of gratitude to God for giving them Beverly as a mother.
She reflected on the belief that God had deliberately chosen Beverly for their family, making her life and presence a blessing they would always be grateful for.
“We know God chose you purposely for us, and we will forever thank Him,” she said, expressing the family’s appreciation for the years they shared with the late actress.
A video shared by UTV Trendz showed the young girl standing at a glass podium as she delivered the emotional tribute. Behind her were painted portraits of Beverly displayed against a red and orange backdrop, adding to the deeply personal atmosphere.
Despite the pain of losing her mother, the young girl managed to hold herself together and honour Beverly in front of the gathering.

Beverly Afaglo, who died on May 24, 2026, aged 42, was widely known for her contributions to Ghana’s entertainment industry. Her death has left her family, friends, colleagues and fans mourning a woman whose life touched many.
As mourners gathered to celebrate her life, her daughter’s tribute offered a poignant reminder that, even in grief, the family remains grateful for the years they had with Beverly.
