The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced a significant expansion of its financial support scheme.
According to a press statement issued by SLTF, this follows a directive from President John Dramani Mahama to extend eligibility to students of the Ghana School of Law.
This development means that professional law students can now apply for full fee coverage loans under the Students Loan Plus initiative.
SLTF noted that the inclusion of law students forms part of the government’s broader commitment to enhancing access to higher education and supporting professional development through innovative student financing solutions.

“This move ensures that students pursuing professional legal training are not hindered by financial constraints,” the SLTF stated.
“It aligns with our mission to promote equitable access to quality higher education for all Ghanaians.”
Eligible students can access the Students Loan Plus through a streamlined online process:
- Visit the No Fees Stress Portal at www.sltf.gov.gh
- Select the Students Loan Plus option
- Follow the straightforward application steps provided
The SLTF has assured prospective applicants of comprehensive support throughout the process. Assistance is available via email at info@sltf.gov.gh or by calling 0302 751 020 or 0264 043 072.
The Students Loan Trust Fund reiterated its commitment to providing equitable financing opportunities to Ghanaian students.
