The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has announced that the party will resume the issuance of membership cards next week.
The move is expected to strengthen internal organisation and improve the accuracy of party data nationwide.
Mr Kodua said the resumption forms part of the NPP’s broader efforts to revitalise its grassroots base ahead of future elections.
“I’m happy to announce that starting next week, we’ll resume the issuing of membership cards,” he stated.
He noted that the exercise will be conducted in phases to ensure all members, including those in remote areas, are duly registered and recognised.
According to him, the NPP remains committed to building a more transparent and accountable membership system.
The General Secretary urged all party members to actively participate in the exercise and encouraged local executives to mobilise their communities for a smooth process.
He added that a strong, verified membership structure will be crucial to the party’s success in upcoming elections.
