The 2025 Super Volleyball Championship came to an end in style as hundreds of fans made it to the Borteyman Sports Complex for the final day.
The seven day event treated spectators to great excitement and explosive performances from 8 teams from Ghana, Nigeria and Benin.
In the end, there were successes for Ghana Army and Nigeria’s Customs Service as they won the trophies in the men and women’s category respectively.
In women’s final, it was total dominance by Nigeria’s Customs team against Ghana’s Air Force team.
The Nigerians gave no room for error, taking a straight 3-0 set lead to clinch the top position and secure the ultimate prize.
Police’s women, who had enjoyed a brilliant run all tournament, lost the third place playoff game to El Wak Queens.
In an all Ghana encounter in the men’s third place playoff game, Prisons came from a set down to claim a 3-2 win over Air Force.
The final saw a blockbuster encounter between Ghana Army and Ghana Police, with the former coming from one set down to win 3-1.

Organisers were left impressed with the success of the fourth edition of the tournament and promised to make it bigger and better in subsequent years.
There were awards for the top performers from the fourth edition of the tournament while the winners took home medals and cash prizes.
