England coach Thomas Tuchel avoided naming Ghana as a potential World Cup opponent when asked by a Ghanaian journalist, Mavis Amanor in Washington.
Tuchel touched down at the Capital Hilton Hotel with an air of anticipation ahead of the 2026 World Cup draw.
He was quick to dodge predictions, saying, "My expectations? No, no, no, I'm ready for anyone."
The former Chelsea coach was swiftly ushered away by security after the brief exchange.
With Harry Kane leading the Three Lions, Tuchel faces the challenge of steering England towards their first World Cup trophy since 1966.
The draw's outcome remains a mystery, but Tuchel emphasizes readiness for any opponent.
Expectations are high for the team as they prepare for the Mundial next year.
Ghana qualifies for the 48-expanded tournament and hoping to make a mark on their fifth global appearance.
