The Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu constituency, Attah Issah, has launched the Sagnarigu Youth Festival 2025 to unlock the potential of the youth in the constituency and promote cultural diversity, skills development, and social cohesion.
The festival, scheduled to take place on December 21, 2025, is themed 'Celebrating Heritage, Empowering Tomorrow' and seeks to bridge the rich traditions of the community with modern opportunities, preparing young people to take up leadership roles, be innovative, and become responsible citizens.

Addressing a gathering after a walk as part of the launch, Attah Issah said the festival is a symbol of his commitment to building a brighter future for young people, rooted in opportunity, growth, and community.
He drew inspiration from the World Youth Festival taking place in Russia, stating that the event will bring the community together and create opportunities.
The Sanarigu Municipal Chief Executive, Imoro Gong, revealed that the festival will serve as a platform to highlight cultural diversity in the north through traditional music, dance, arts, and storytelling, while promoting skills development, entrepreneurship, education, sports, and civic engagement.
"The festival is designed to inspire unity, promote social cohesion, and unlock the vast potential that exists within the young population," he said, calling on stakeholders to join hands and make the event a success.
"We must all come together to ensure this festival succeeds because it is here to help our youth," Imoro Gong emphasised.
The launch of the Sanarigu Youth Festival 2025 has sparked excitement among the youth and stakeholders, who are eager to participate in the festivities and benefit from the opportunities that the event promises to bring.
