Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Dr Dominic Ayine, on Wednesday, December 18, will return to the Government Accountability Series with a major briefing on developments in the case involving the former Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta.
The AG will also be reporting on significant recoveries recorded in the government’s fight against cybercrime.
The briefing is expected to provide clarity on the status of legal proceedings involving the former Finance Minister, as well as outline actions taken by the state to safeguard public resources and uphold accountability.

The session forms part of the government’s broader effort to keep citizens informed about high-profile cases and enforcement outcomes.
In a Facebook post, the Government Communications Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the update would focus on “facts, progress, and outcomes,” stressing that the public deserves transparency on matters of national interest.
“This is about accountability and restoring confidence in the justice system,” he noted.
On cybercrime, Mr Kwakye Ofosu said the state has made “substantial recoveries” through investigations and prosecutions, adding that the government remains committed to strengthening legal and institutional measures to combat digital fraud.
“We are seeing real results, and we will continue to protect the public purse and citizens from cybercriminal activity,” he assured.
