Ghanaian musician Michael Adangba has survived a motor accident while travelling to Bolgatanga to finalise preparations for his upcoming Adangba Legacy Festival.
The incident occurred at dawn, around 4 a.m. on Thursday, as he was travelling from Accra to Bolga. According to reports, his driver ran into a truck near Tech Junction in Kumasi.
Both Michael Adangba and the driver were immediately rushed to hospital for medical assessment.
Confirming the incident, the singer’s manager, Wenawome Aborah, said Adangba was wearing a seatbelt, a precaution that helped save his life.
“Adangba was injured but received medical attention and is now doing better,” he added.
The collision left the musician’s car severely damaged.

Despite the accident, his manager said Adangba is recovering well and the concert will go ahead as planned.
The Adangba Legacy Festival, powered by Kacstone Records, is scheduled for December 21 at Paga Town Park.
The festival is expected to pay tribute to Michael Adangba’s remarkable musical journey, one defined by powerful, thought-provoking songs delivered mainly in Kasem, creatively fused with English and other Ghanaian languages.
