New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant and former Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has urged Ghanaian youth not to allow their background or current struggles to define their future, stressing that the country’s most valuable resource is its people.

In a message shared on his social media platforms on Sunday, January 4, Dr Adutwum acknowledged the daily efforts and sacrifices of young people across the country, describing them as the driving force behind Ghana’s development.

“Never let anyone tell you that your background limits your future,” he said.

“Ghana’s greatest resource is not gold or oil, it is you.”

He encouraged young people to remain focused and disciplined, noting that national progress is closely linked to the preparedness and resilience of the youth.

“When the youth rise with discipline, skills, and hope, the nation rises with them,” Dr Adutwum stated.

He added that consistent self-improvement and hard work would position young people to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.

The former Education Minister urged the youth to remain hopeful and intentional about their personal growth, assuring them that their efforts would eventually pay off.

“Your time is coming. Prepare for it.”
