Ghana's international golfer, Danny List, hosted a thrilling two-hour golf training session for 100 children at the Achimota Golf Pitch in Accra on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The Danny List Golf Clinic, now in its second year, aims to equip young golfers with the skills and techniques needed to succeed in international golf.
During the clinic, List shared his expertise with the young golfers, focusing on fundamental techniques like grip, stance, and swing basics.

He also emphasized the importance of mental skills, including confidence, focus, discipline, and etiquette.
To make learning fun and engaging, List incorporated drills for physical fitness and strategy, such as the 7/10 rule, which encourages players to make smarter decisions on the course.
List's approach is designed to foster a lifelong passion for golf in these young athletes, while also developing their overall athletic abilities.
As a professional golfer, he's committed to using cutting-edge methods to provide an effective learning experience for junior Ghanaian golfers.

Through his foundation's golf academy, List has been championing junior golfer training programs, leveraging data analytics and personalized training plans to transform the sport in Ghana.

Speaking after the event, List expressed his vision for the program: "I want to take it to a level where everyone starts seeing where talents will speak for themselves on a global scale. I want beneficiaries from the golf clinic to go overseas and participate in international golf programs."

List believes the biggest achievement is creating opportunities and laying a foundation for junior golfers to succeed. "Early adoption of proper techniques and mental strategies lays a strong foundation for future achievements in golf and other endeavors," he said.

Madam Kous Lounges Mang, Lady Captain of the Achimota Golf Club, praised List's efforts, saying, "Danny List is a blessing for Ghana, and Ghanaians should take advantage of his golf academy project."

Danny List's programme was graced by a diverse group of golf enthusiasts, including his proud mother, Madam Angela List.
