NPP flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has issued an emotional appeal to party delegates ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primary scheduled for Sunday, 31 January.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Thursday, January 29, Mr Agyapong reflected on his political journey, describing his commitment to the party as one driven by duty rather than personal ambition.
“Tonight, I speak from the heart,” he wrote, noting that he had stood by the party during challenging periods and remained loyal when hope appeared distant. He stressed that his quest for leadership was rooted in service and responsibility.
Mr Agyapong also urged delegates to prioritise courage, truth and selfless service in their decision-making, warning that the party faces a defining moment.
“Our party stands at a crossroads, and the choices we make now will shape Ghana for generations,” he said.
His message comes barely 78 hours before delegates across the country vote to elect the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general election.
He is also expected to engage with delegates in a session dubbed “KEN SPEAKS” on Thursday evening.
