The National Vaccine Institute (NVI) has marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its first Audit Committee, aimed at strengthening institutional capacity.
The committee, sworn in on January 27th, 2026, comprises members from key institutions, including the Internal Audit Agency, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and the Ministry of Environment Science and Technology.
Mr. Alhassan Fuseini, Chairman of the Audit Committee, pledged the committee's commitment to supporting management in audit compliance. NVI CEO Dr. Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey assured full cooperation with the committee.
The committee has held its first meeting, reviewing NVI's 2025 fourth-quarter internal audit report and developing its 2026 calendar.
