Organisers of the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards have announced nominees for the fourth edition of the awards scheme, regarded as one of the country’s leading platforms for recognising outstanding young achievers.
The nominations, unveiled on February 28, 2026, feature a wide range of personalities and emerging talents across sectors such as entertainment, business, academia, and public service.
The awards continue to celebrate individuals whose work and achievements are contributing to national development and inspiring young people across the country.
Among the notable personalities nominated this year are rapper Sarkodie, dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod Sammy Gyamfi, businessman Ibrahim Mahama, entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye, and political scientist Prof.
Ransford Gyampo, Malik Basintale, musician Shatta Wale, and media personality Julius Neequaye.
According to Apex Africa Concept, the organisers of the awards scheme, winners will be determined through a combination of public voting and extensive research to ensure credibility and fairness.
Public participation will be facilitated through Ghana’s leading electronic voting platform, FastVote, which has been named the official voting partner for the 2026 edition.
The Ghana Youth Excellence Awards aim to recognise young individuals who are making significant contributions to society through leadership, innovation, and excellence in their respective fields.
Last year’s edition of the awards was held at the National Theatre in Accra and attracted prominent personalities, industry leaders, and youth icons from across the country.
Organisers say the fourth edition is expected to be even bigger as the scheme continues its mission of empowering and celebrating young Ghanaians shaping the nation’s future.
