All is set for the 2026 edition of the Kwahu Business Forum, with organisers confident that the comprehensive measures implemented and innovative additions will culminate in a flawless, productive, and highly impactful business summit.
The forum, which is the brainchild of President John Mahama and Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, is scheduled to kick off on Friday, April 3, with expectations rife that this year’s edition will witness the biggest gathering of successful indigenous entrepreneurs, business executives, policymakers, investors and owners of start-ups.
The event, to be held under the theme “The Future of Business: The Role of the Financial Sector,” will be graced by the crème de la crème of Ghana’s business community, with President John Dramani Mahama, Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah, and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, billed to attend.

Ahead of the opening day, the Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, toured the newly constructed Kwahu Convention Centre at Mpraeso Hills and expressed delight at the extensive preparatory work carried out by the organisers to get the venue ready for the forum.
The Eastern Regional Minister noted that the over 1,000-capacity centre has been fully equipped with all necessary facilities and materials to ensure participants enjoy two days of strategic and transformative engagements.
Madam Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey hammered on the tremendous efforts invested in the organisation of the forum, which will enable it to live up to its billing as the biggest fixture on the Ghanaian business calendar.

She commended Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah and his team for their dedication to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of the Kwahu people, emphasising that both the short- and long-term impact of the forum will be immense.
“I have just toured the facility, and I can confidently say that we are ready. All necessary measures have been put in place, and I believe this year’s edition will be the most outstanding yet.
“The Chief of Staff and his team have done a tremendous job. Their commitment to promoting entrepreneurship deserves high commendation,” she said.
