Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has joined family members, religious and traditional leaders, friends and well-wishers to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, the late Deputy National Security Coordinator and victim of the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash.

The Vice President conveyed President John Dramani Mahama’s greetings and continued sympathies to the bereaved family, a year after the circumstances surrounding his death, and the deaths of seven others left the nation in shock and grief.

She joined loved ones and community leaders to reflect on Alhaji Limuna’s life, service and the values he upheld.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, stressing the collective responsibility to support them and keep them in prayer.

She prayed for the Almighty to strengthen the family and grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
