T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Salaga has secured the Savannah Region’s only ticket to the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship after seeing off Bole Senior High School and Salaga Senior High School.
The school finished the contest with 31 points, beating Bole SHS, which placed second with 26 points, while Salaga SHS ended the contest with 4 points.
The victory marks T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, Salaga’s second consecutive qualification for the national championship, keeping the school’s impressive run in the competition alive.
Bole SHS came close to claiming the region’s sole ticket but could not overcome T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, Salaga in the decisive stages of the contest, bringing their hopes of returning to the national stage to an end.
