Music acts go through changes all the time and the inclusion of the silky-voiced Fresh Prince has, no doubt, added some more bite to the sound of 4x4. Initially a duo, 4x4 now comprises Edem Avornyo aka Abortion, Jeff Sylvanus aka Captain Planet and Fresh Prince whose real name is Prince Tamakloe. The trio is currently under a new management and being produced by Double Trouble Records, a subsidiary of Paradise Entertainment. In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, the manager of the group, Duke Banson said their new 14-track album is selling for as low as GHc2 to make it affordable for the average Ghanaian to purchase a copy and enjoy the music. He says the move to sell the album for GHC 2 arises out of the idea of killing piracy at its roots and helping the artistes to make money from album sales as well as from live shows. “Piracy is killing the efforts of musicians as they lose out on album sales and only depend on tours and shows for income. We want to create a situation where we would make the music affordable for all whiles making some money too in the process” Banson added. Source: Graphic Showbiz
