The Big Brother contestant now musician, was the fifth evictee of the show after spending 56 days in the house revealed this in an interview on Metro TV’s Morning Ride on Saturday.
Mimi also known as ‘Devilish’ says she is doing music because she loves it and not for any other reason “I am a multi-talented person. I can sing, present, act and I am also good in school too. I am a secretary and I can work if I want to.”
She said her love and passion for music inspired her new album which makes it a good one.
Her ‘Music in me’ album has songs like; Devilish, Tattoo and Leave me alone, which is already enjoying massive air play both on radio and television.
She explained that the song,‘Leave me alone' doesn’t mean people should leave her alone but it rather goes to guys who can’t take care of a lady but still follows her. Those guys should leave her alone. “So if you are a guy and you want a lady, you should be able to take good care of her,” she said.
The ‘Leave me alone’ track was recorded and engineered by Richie of Lynx Entertainment and it features Captain Planet and Abortion of 4x4.
Mimi has had her fair share of rumours and allegations since she shot into the lime light some years ago. She refuted rumours that she was dating Captain Planet and later Chemphe who are both well known musicians in the country.
She said her album is finally ready and it will be launched on the 26 of September in Accra. Her album launch is powered by Empire Entertainment and she is signed under the Movingui Record label.
