Two people have been confirmed dead and another injured following a gas explosion at Kasoa Amanfrom, Tuesday.
The accident which occurred around 1:00 pm Tuesday is said to have happened when gas welders at the Next Level Welding shop in the vicinity were welding a cylinder.
One of the cylinders exploded causing many to run for their lives. Two people were caught in the flames with another sustaining serious injury.
Wife of 42-year-old Dodzi Adjia, who was killed in the accident, Faustina Vugbedor told Joy News she is shattered by the death of her husband and will struggle to cater for her unborn child.
JoyNews gathers the bodies of the deceased persons have been sent to the Police Hospital Morgue for autopsy pending burial.
