A bus carrying the presidential press corps has crashed on the Shai Hills road near Tema.
A Ghanaian Times reporter is reported to have lost his life, two other journalists are said to be in a critical condition.
The bus was returning to Accra from the Volta region, Ho where President John Mahama had attended the annual convention of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church.
About twenty journalists are said to have been in the vehicle when the accident occurred.
They were travelling in a Ford bus which was not part of the presidential convoy heading to Accra.
The injured have been rushed to the Michel Camp Hospital for attention. The accident happened Thursday afternoon.
