The Evangelical Presbyterian Church has send a message of condolence to the family and victims of the Presidential Press Corps Accident that occurred on Thursday on the Shai Hills road in Accra.
In a statement copied to Joy News, the church affirmed its continuous support and prayers to the victims.

Statement of Compassion
The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, has learnt with shock the unfortunate news of an accident involving the Presidential Press Corp returning from Ho after providing media coverage for the Church’s Seventh General Assembly Official Opening.
The journalists accompanied His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama as the Guest of Honour on their usual official assignment at the event.
The Church wishes to express its condolence to the family of the journalist who has lost his life in the course of duty as well as his employers, the News Times Corporation, the Office of the President and the Ghana Journalists Association, while commiserating with those who suffered various degrees of injuries in the accident.
We wish to affirm our continuous support in prayer for a speedy recovery of the injured while consoling with the family, friends or other relatives of the deceased during this grieving period.
