Three more Magistrates have been sacked without benefits by the Judicial Council for their involvement in the judicial corruption scandal.
They three magistrates are His Worship Kaakyire Atta Owusu, Isaac Amoah and Stephen Azuure.
This brings to nine the number of magistrates removed from office without benefits.
A statement by the Judiciary Council Monday evening also said one Kofi Kyere, a high court registrar has been dismissed.
Their names were left out of the initial list of suspended lower court judges announced last week because the letters informing them of their removal had not reached them.
The decision to sack the three judges and high court registrar was taken by the Judicial Council following a resolution at its emergency meeting last Monday on grounds of the stated misbehaviour under article 151 (1) of the 1992 Constitution.
The Judicial Council last week removed twenty justices of the lower court from office following their indictment in the recent judicial corruption exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye P.I team.
At an emergency meeting on Monday December 7, 2015, the Council unanimously decided to remove them.
Tiger Eye P.I. petitioned the Council to remove the judges and more than100 judicial service staff accusing them of taking bribes to influence judgments of the court.
