Seven people who were arrested at Jantong Daboase near Salaga in the Northern Region for possessing arms including AK 47 have been sent to Accra for further interrogation and prosecution.
Police in the region arrested them on Friday and retrieved the weapons after the residents there suspected they were carrying something dangerous.

Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh told Joy News they may be put before court on Tuesday.
He says the Police are also yet to apprehend one other prime suspect but “we are still pursuing him and we will intensify our search for him.”
ASP Tetteh however refused to comment on a story circulating on some media that the AK 47-weilding suspects had Taliban videos on them.
" I would not like to go into that," the police had said.
