Senior citizens in the Hohoe Municipality have appealed to government to formulate a national blueprint on education to stem the back-to-back approach to development in the sector. They said political interference and lack of clear policy in the education sector was a threat to national growth and development. The senior citizens said this at a reception held for them to mark Republic Day. They appealed to politicians to foster peace, tolerance and demystify politics as an avenue to make quick money but an honour to serve one's country and compatriots. Mr Victor-Hermann Condobrey, Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive, reassured the senior citizens that government and the Hohoe Municipal administration would provide transparent and accountable governance that would unite the people. He assured that the government's "Better Ghana" agenda was on course. Source: GNA
