Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey's life is set to be adapted into a TV movie dramatising her life. Veteran filmmaker Larry A Thompson has acquired the rights to Kitty Kelley's book Oprah: A Biography to turn it into a two or four-hour film. But finding the right actress to play Winfrey will be difficult, says Thompson. He said: "Oprah Winfrey's fascinating journey from rural Mississippi to the world stage is packed with simple truths and complicated personalities. "Casting someone to play Oprah will be the real challenge. We are planning to audition both known and unknown actresses." The TV project is expected to air in September 2011, which would coincide with the end of Winfrey's weekday talk show. A spokesman for the 56-year-old's Chicago-based Harpo Productions has so far declined to comment. Source: Sky News
