Ghana's representative in the Big Brother Africa All Stars reality show has been evicted but he still in the running for the grand prize.
The surprises theme in this year’s Big Brother Africa All Stars will not end and Biggie is proving that he has a lot more in store.
Sammi, Hannington and Uti were up for eviction this week; Hannington was the unlucky one, Tatiana was nominated for eviction but escaped eviction by the fact that she was the head of the House. Due to that, she had to nominate another Housemate (Hannington) to replace her.
It was yet another exciting eviction show although most Ghanaians were sitting on tenterhooks. Ghana’s sensational music duo, Rough N Smooth rocked the show. They lived up to expectation showing once again the quality they possess performing their hit song Swagger and a new song from their album, Azingele.
Eviction
After last week’s fake Eviction show, Biggie was in for business now with a real Eviction. When the eviction started, Hannington was the first to leave the House contrary to his expectation that he was going to stay in the house a bit longer.
For Hannington, this eviction comes as a big blow to him as he was getting warmed up in the house. He was seen giving an ‘engagement’ ring to Sheila who turned it down saying they can do whatever they wanted outside the House but for now, she was in for the Game.
Sammi was the second to leave the house. He was not surprised and he clearly saw it coming. After his eviction, IK asked if he thought he was not far away from the other Housemates considering the fact that he was sometimes seen sleeping when the rest of the Housemates were partaking in fun activities.
In response, Sammi said, “I'm taking it like a game...maybe it (my eviction) was meant to be” adding that things have changed since the last time he was in the Big Brother House seven years ago.
He admitted his youthful days are over and may be the housemates were youthful enough for Africa.
Secrets
Housemates had secrets to share with Biggie as they entered the House. Housemates were to predict correctly these 14 Secrets of their colleagues, each worth $1000. If no one manages to guess your secret, on eviction day, evicted Housemates themselves had to share their personal secrets with the other Housemates.
While on stage alongside IK at the live Eviction Show, Sammi revealed his sorrowful secret to his Housemates and the rest of Africa.
Sammi did not expect to divulge his secret so when IK placed the mic in front of Sammi's mouth he hesitated. He eventually got the words out and his secret stunned the Housemates to silence.
Sammi took a deep breath, shook his head and then slowly explained how he had had an affair, and had a love child. He was choked up and guilt ridden when he disclosed that his child later died and he feels he did not do enough for the child.
Hannington’s secret was about an affair he had with his ex-girl’s mum.
