The UNHCR goodwill ambassador is ready to hit the road again: Angelina Jolie wants to go to Pakistan, where devastating floods have affected as many as 20 million people and left 2,000 dead.
"This one is really one that we really have to urgently get in there and try and do what we can," Jolie, speaking at the London premiere of her movie "Salt," told the BBC.
"We'll financially help, we'll try to figure out which is the best group, we'll probably do HCR and hope to visit and go when the attention dies down and maintain the attention. Because it's millions and millions of people who'll be uprooted for a very, very long time."
Speaking to reporters on the movie's red carpet -- and looking dazzling in an Amanda Wakeley dress -- Jolie, 35, turned from the topic of real roles to reel roles.
Asked about reports that she would play Marilyn Monroe to George Clooney's Frank Sinatra for a biopic, she told reporters, "This is a new rumor. It sounds very nice -- I just haven't got the phone call yet! You guys will probably know before I do!"
Were her companion Brad Pitt to have his way, however, she'd continue with action roles. "Brad met me doing stunts," Jolie said, referring to their work together in 2005's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." "He likes that side of me."
