The National Union of Ghana students will Sunday elect ten national executives to replace its current leadership at the start of a new year.
Members of the union have huddled in meetings in Wa in the Upper West Region since Wednesday, at its annual congress.
The congress was nearly marred by accusations of vote rigging among aspiring executives as well as the kidnapping of two students.
The claims have however been discounted by the Police.
Outgoing NUGS President, Wonder Madilo told Joy News elected executives will have to work hard to unite the ranks of the students body and implement interventions to make it stronger.
