The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a portable Android platform smartphone and personal computer merged into one, and is suitable for those who want to stay connected to people and information on the go.
Vodafone Ghana is offering the Galaxy with a headset, an extra 1 GB memory card, a Vodafone SIM, 2.5 GB of data, 100 voice minutes to all networks, 50 free text messages and a one-year warranty.
The 7 inch high resolution TFT touch screen tablet, promises to deliver smooth performance with a fast Random Access Memory which provides instant and reliable photo browsing, internet surfing and the ability to view and edit Microsoft Office files including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. Vodafone Ghana customers can also read digital books, newspapers and magazines and watch high definition videos.
"Consumers lead increasingly busy lives and as such, need to have access to both their business information and social networks wherever they are. We recognise this and that is why we joined forces with Samsung to give Vodafone Ghana customers exclusive use of the Galaxy, the Head of Corporate Communications of Vodafone Ghana Carmen Bruce-Annan disclosed.
With data connectivity support, the Galaxy Tablet provides reliable access to take pictures and videos, store or share it over the Vodafone network instantly with friends via email or facebook.

The Galaxy Tab is available at all Vodafone Ghana retail shops and is being offered at a cost of GH¢1,200.00.
